Another 29% of Americans expressed hope that Apple will return EarPods and a power adapter to their smartphone cases by 2023. Almost a quarter (23.9%) would like to see a periscope lens for optical zoom on the iPhone 15. About 23% voted to return the Touch ID option to Apple smartphones. A fifth (20.3%) of respondents wished Apple would switch from Lightning to USB-C.
What fell short of Apple fans’ expectations for the future of the iPhone was support for Dynamic Island for the entire series and the return of the Mini version. These options were voted on by 11.7% and 8.5% of respondents, respectively.
In addition, SellCell asked respondents a series of questions about their satisfaction with the iPhone 14 series, and it turned out that about 57% of Americans have not yet bought a novelty and do not plan to buy it in the near future. Of these, 45% said they wanted to continue using the current iPhone model, 5% said they expected the iPhone 15 to be released, and 2.4% said they plan to upgrade to the next-generation iPhone SE.
