TM Benidorm Secures a Dominant Home Victory Over Bada Huesca
In a match full of momentum and emotional energy, TM Benidorm defeated Bada Huesca 33-24, snapping a losing streak and sealing their mathematical safety in the standings. The early exchanges were tight, but Benidorm’s balance and depth carried them through the decisive moments of the game.
Local shot-stopper Roberto Rodríguez delivered a string of crucial saves, while Fernando Latorre’s squad executed rapid defensive rotations that disrupted Huesca throughout the second half. The visitors found no real answer to break the siege and could not reclaim the initiative.
What began with open exchanges and mutual scoring quickly tilted in Benidorm’s favor. The home side established tempo with a cohesive chorus of attackers and a dynamic defense, while the final margin was ultimately decided by the quality of Benidorms finishing at the goal line.
Early in the contest, the scoreboard showed a 9-7 advantage for Benidorm after a pair of counterattacking goals by Nikcevic. Coached by José Nolasco, Bada Huesca called a timeout to stem the momentum, but the interruption only slowed the inevitable surge from the home team. Another timeout by Huesca followed as the minutes ticked away and Benidorm stretched their lead to 14-8, forcing Benidorm to rethink before the interval. The Germanic block of late-game goals kept the gap intact at 16-10 as the teams headed to the break.
The second half began with Benidorm unfurling a flawless sequence. Latorre’s squad capitalized on Huesca mistakes to start with a 3-0 run and then continue pressing the tempo. The defense recovered its footing with tighter marking, and the host side began to pull away decisively. Huesca, hampered by missed chances and a lack of decisive answers, could not stem the tide as Benidorm converted fast breaks and accurate finishes.
Against a softer defensive approach, players such as Cordies and Benites contributed important strikes to extend the advantage. Lignieres, Edu Calle, Iván Martínez, and center Serrano joined the party, pushing the lead to 12 goals at 30-18. Rodríguez continued to deny several late pushes with timely saves, ensuring that Benidorm remained in control as the clock wound down. Although Huesca fought back to reduce the deficit somewhat, they could not prevent a resounding triumph for TM Benidorm in what felt like a party on their home floor.
