Elche held a morning training session with a handful of absences and several tactical combinations. The session began promptly at 10 o’clock, with around twenty players on the field and three goalkeepers training at the Díez Iborra football field, where preparation for Sunday’s home match against Andorra (kick-off at 16:15) has been ongoing since yesterday.
As reported earlier, Sergio León appears to be preparing for a potential departure. The striker has not been included in Beccacece’s plans for recent matches and was not among those called up for today’s training.

Others on the squad stay ready
The injured players did not train with the rest of the group. Oscar Plano is sidelined with a broken fibula, Rodri Mendoza continues to recover from a significant knock to the shin, and Tete Morente is dealing with muscle discomfort.
Rumors persist about Raúl Guti and Lautaro Blanco, with speculation about their futures circulating in the background. At this stage, there is no concrete development, so Beccacece could encourage them to remain with the squad or consider options in the Pyrenees if circumstances change.

Two players, Fidel Chaves and Diego González, are progressing well in their recovery. Both started today’s session with the group, and their imminent return is anticipated as part of the club’s ongoing rehabilitation plan.
