Television remains important, but streaming football is rising in popularity. On mobile devices, tablets, and laptops, live games streamed over the internet are increasingly common as many users shift away from traditional cable or antenna services.

The following guide explains the main streaming services for live football, covering broadcasting rights, what can be watched, and what is needed:

DIRECTV PLAY (SOUTH AMERICA)

DIRECTV Play is an online platform for movies, series, live sports, children’s programs, and more. It brings all content together in one place.
To use it, a DIRECTV customer needs a MyDIRECTV account. Then the DIRECTV Play app can be downloaded on Android or iOS, or one can log in from a computer to start watching.

ESPN GAME (LATAM)

ESPN Game is the streaming service that aggregates programming from ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN+. It covers football and many other sports and can be viewed on mobile devices or tablets. The service is free to access for qualified cable customers. A user should create an account at espn.com/watch, verify compatibility with their provider, and set a password.

FOX SPORT GAME (LATAM)

Fox Sports Play enables watching live sports as long as a pay TV package includes Fox Sports channels. Access requires entering the provider’s page and supplying the account details such as email or contract number and password. The platform is known as Fox Sports Play in some regions and Fox Sports Latin America in apps. Both offer live events without interruptions or extra costs when the pay TV package includes Fox.

DAZN (SPAIN)

DAZN operates as the over‑the‑top service for the DAZN group and is active in several regions including Brazil and Spain. The DAZN app is available on Android, iOS, Amazon Fire TV devices, and Android TV. Up to five devices can be registered per account, with two active streams concurrently.

More information is available on the official DAZN Spain site, and the DAZN Spain YouTube channel provides updates. The service price is 10 euros per month.

MOVISTAR (SPAIN)

Movistar typically uses a home decoder for channel viewing but also offers device access via an electronic key for registered users. Formerly known as Yomvi, the service can be found at ver.movistarplus.es. All games can be watched live, with options for replays and on‑demand viewing when convenient for the user.

Movistar Lite is an OTT option that lets users stream some channels online at a lower price. However, it does not include Spanish or international football, though it does offer a sports channel such as Vamos for selective viewing.

WIN SPORT +S (COLOMBIA)

WinSport+ is a premium channel offering Colombian football coverage, including the League, Cup, Tournament, Super League, and Women’s League. The service started in January and, beginning February, requires a subscription of 29,900 Colombian pesos to access the signal.

HEAVEN (MEXICO)

Sky Sports holds the rights to a large portion of domestic leagues in the region, including the Premier League, FA Cup, La Liga, Copa del Rey, and UEFA Nations League, among others. Access comes with an additional TV package price and a separate trading name for the digital content. A cheaper prepaid option has become available since late 2020.
