Girinóto visits Vallecas as leaders clash with Real Madrid, who welcome Valencia to the Santiago Bernabéu. Barcelona will try to rebound from a European setback by facing Alavés. The Madrid derby, featuring the fiercest rivalry between Sevilla and Betis, is set to dominate the weekend’s attention.

Athletic Club de Bilbao – Celta de Vigo (Friday 21:00)

Celta de Vigo arrives in a precarious position, having earned only one league win since early September. They head to San Mamés, where Athletic Club aims to seize an opportunity and push into the race for a top-four finish by building on steady home form and pressuring the visitors from the opening whistle.

Rayo Vallecano – Girona (Saturday 14:00)

The matchup in Vallecas carries extra meaning for Girona boss Miguel Ángel Sánchez, who spent his early years in the Rayo family. An emblematic figure for the club, he served as a player for many seasons, logged 425 official appearances in the Franjirroja colors, and also coached the side between 2017 and 2019, earning promotion to the top flight in 2018.

Granada – Getafe (Saturday 18:30)

Granada face a challenging period, emotionally drained by their league position and a Copa del Rey exit that stemmed from an off-form squad. Getafe, by contrast, arrive with momentum after a dramatic late-season win, strengthening their own campaign and chasing an improving run of results despite recent adversity.

Osasuna – Las Palmas

Osasuna earned titleless glory after back-to-back league losses, while UD Las Palmas have steadied with consecutive victories. Jonathan Viera seeks to lift spirits and earn a favorable result that would dampen any lingering doubts at the Navarrese club after a turbulent spell.

Real Madrid – Valencia (Saturday, 21:00)

At the Bernabéu, Real Madrid welcome Valencia in front of home fans for the third time in a week, aiming to move past a recent league draw and extend a long unbeaten run. Their recent form, including six wins in the league and three in Europe across the past month, has set a strong tone for this clash.

Barcelona – Alavés (Sunday, 16:15)

Barcelona, two points off the pace behind the leaders, look to rebuild after a rough spell that included a high-profile Madrid defeat and a tough European setback. A convincing performance against Alavés would help restore confidence and improve their standing in the chase for domestic glory.

Sevilla – Betis (Sunday, 18:30)

Betis come into this derby in good form, unbeaten in seven league matches and displaying consistent resilience on the field. Sevilla, meanwhile, have faced criticism for a dip in results and a struggle to meet expectations, fueling renewed calls for strategic changes in the squad and leadership.

Sevilla, in particular, has yet to taste league victory over Almería since late September. Supporters have grown restless with the team’s direction, hoping the latest managerial decisions from Diego Alonso, who has overseen six matches including a cup tie, bring a sharper edge and better cohesion on matchdays.

Atlético de Madrid – Villarreal (Sunday, 21:00)

Atlético de Madrid sit six points off the leaders with a game in hand, a position that keeps them within striking distance of Europe while refusing to concede the chase. The Red and White club arrive buoyed by a dramatic Champions League thumping of Celtic, but their domestic form has raised questions. Villarreal travel with plenty of doubt of their own, now led by José Rojo “Pacheta” in what many see as a precarious period for their season, till recently closer to relegation than European places.

Real Mallorca – Cádiz (November 29)

The round was planned to conclude with Real Mallorca hosting Cádiz, but the match was postponed to Wednesday, November 29 due to Vedat Muriqi’s international duty. The forward, called up by Kosovo, could not feature as Kosovo and Israel’ s international calendars overlapped with Mallorca’s schedule, delaying the game to a midweek slot.
