Elche’s Revised LaLiga Schedule Highlights a Busy Finish
LaLiga Santander unveiled a revised schedule yesterday that adds three fresh matchdays for Elche. The club is set to host Celta de Vigo, then travel to Rayo Vallecano, and finish with an away clash at Almería. With these additions, five fixtures are now confirmed, two already anchored to fixed dates and another growing toward a fuller calendar. Four of the clashes will take place within the current month, signaling a jam-packed finish for Elche as the campaign nears its end.

Elche will close April with a rapid sequence of four games in under two weeks, packed into a 13-day stretch. The pace continues into May, beginning with an away trip to Almería on the second day of the new month, with kickoff set for 19:30 local time, as the squad sustains momentum through a demanding run of fixtures.
Elche has ten LaLiga matches remaining on the calendar. While relegation isn’t mathematically certain, with 30 points still within reach, the club faces a challenging path: secure a solid run of results that turn into multiple wins across these games. The remaining fixtures offer a viable route to climb the table if consistency can be found across the board.

The opening clash of the sequence is a home battle against Girona, scheduled for this Sunday at 14:00. A week later, Elche will host Valencia on Sunday the 23rd, maintaining the same 14:00 kickoff. Just three days after that, Beccacece’s squad will head to Vigo to face Celta at 22:00 on a Wednesday night. Then, at 16:15 on Saturday, April 29, the Franjiverde side will meet Rayo Vallecano at the Martínez Valero stadium.
Already in May, a league match in Almería on Tuesday the 2nd has been confirmed for 19:30. The schedule still lists games against Atlético Madrid, Getafe, Sevilla, Athletic Bilbao, and Cádiz as pending, with those teams expected to visit the Franjiverde stadium as part of the closing stretch.
