Fedor Smolov, the forward who plays for Dynamo Moscow, has spoken about his approach to holidays and how he spends a substantial amount on travel. He revealed in an interview that his total holiday outlay often climbs past six figures when adding flights, accommodation, dining, and experiences on Saint Barth, one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive destinations.
“When you put everything together, it easily exceeds $100,000,” Smolov explained during his chat on a popular YouTube channel. The remarks added a vivid picture of how he values rest and recreation as part of his professional life.
Smolov also described Saint Barth as an ideal vacation spot. He contrasted it with vacations in other parts of the world, noting that the island offers a unique blend of relaxation and entertainment that suits his tastes for both serene and lively settings.
He compared climates and holiday experiences, saying, “The climate in Asia is not very pleasant for me because it tends to be very hot and humid. I enjoy the Maldives, but the holidays there can feel quite repetitive after a while. Saint Barth gives you the option to unwind on wild beaches or join social gatherings and parties, which keeps things interesting.”
Since joining Dynamo Moscow in January 2022, Smolov has become a familiar name in the Russian Premier League. In the previous season, the 33-year-old forward made 24 appearances for Dynamo in the RPL and found the back of the net 10 times, contributing to the team’s attacking options. Transfer market data indicates a market value of €5 million for Smolov, reflecting his experience and scoring ability at the top level.
In late May, Smolov signed a new contract with Dynamo that includes the possibility of a one-year extension. The agreement underscores the club’s confidence in his continued contribution and leadership on the field, especially as Dynamo looks to bolster its attack in the coming seasons.
Valery Karpin, a recognized figure in Russian football who has led Rostov and the national team, weighed in on speculation about a potential appointment at Dynamo. He cautioned that rumors circulating online should not be taken at face value and encouraged fans to rely on official announcements for any major managerial or executive changes.
