DECLARED DAY OF THE CLUB
The Sunday derby between Eldense and Elche is drawing strong ticket activity as Nuevo Pepico Amat prepares for a near-sellout crowd this season’s first. Despite this being designated a “Club Day”—a day when all fans with season tickets issued through the Barcelona club are admitted—more than three thousand passes have already found buyers and fans are lining up for the historic clash.
On the opening day, around 767 tickets were allocated to the Franjiverde side, with roughly 50 issued courtesy of the visiting club’s board. The early surge saw an estimated 2,500 tickets go to the public on the first day of the open box office. On Friday, members could also secure seats through the club’s official website. However, the general public will not be able to purchase seats for the provincial league duel until 10 a.m. on Friday.
Subscribers are entitled to purchase up to four seats, while other supporters may buy up to two. Early concerns about ticket prices for devoted fans initially slowed the Nuevo Pepico Amat box office, but the majority of attendees understood the need to regulate demand for this historic contest.
Franjiverde supporters will sit in designated sections, and Eldense has stated it will not release more than the 767 tickets already allocated to its rival for distribution among its own fans. About 400 tickets are being processed directly by Elche CF (25 euros) and around 300 are managed by the Federation of Clubs (up to 15). The first full session of the season nears, with the venue holding a new capacity of 5,600 spectators at the renovated Deportivo ground.
