After a long wait of more than two years, the Championship trophy for 2020 finally reached the stage it deserved. The pandemic paused the competition and the tight local schedule kept it from advancing as planned. Today, three teams remain in the race for the crown: River, Estudiantes and Banfield.
Why are River and Banfield playing in the 2020 Champions Trophy?
Xeneize has already secured a place in the final by winning both the 2019-2020 Super League and the Diego Maradona Cup. That leaves the other final slot to be contested between River and the Drill, who finished as runners-up in the two events. The decisive match is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22 at 21:00, at Mario Alberto Kempes Stadium in Cordoba. Each club will be allowed to bring supporters, but entry depends on presenting the proper tickets and identification.

How do you get tickets?
Tickets can be purchased through the ticket platform. A national ID document (DNI) is required to enter the stadium.
Ticket sales follow distinctive rules for each club. River supporters and members of Somos River had priority until 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 18. On Sunday, February 19, at 10 a.m., non-members could buy the remaining seats. Banfield members were given their own priority window via the platform.
Banfield members can secure their tickets with priority through the same system.
