The Intercity football project in the region gains a new training hub thanks to a pivotal agreement with Bonalba Golf Club. This collaboration will give the team access to top-tier facilities for daily training and the first squad, with construction set to start immediately and a projected completion window of up to three months. The camp will be built on Bonalba’s own land, and both organizations will share the benefits of world-class amenities, including a fully equipped gym, locker rooms, a swimming pool, spa services, and ample parking, among other features secured through the partnership.
A five-year contract term has been agreed, with an option to renew. Bonalba Golf Club will oversee turf maintenance and upkeep, while CF Intercity will finance the construction investment. The total projected expenditure is around 150,000 euros. This deal elevates Bonalba Golf Club to a leading sponsorship role within Alicante and strengthens its ties with the local football ecosystem.
An adjacent training space will be developed next to the main training ground, offering physiotherapy, recovery, and medical treatment services for players. In a subsequent phase, there is also potential for expansion by linking a gym directly to the facility.
The leadership of CF Intercity emphasized that the new training ground aligns with the club’s growth strategy and professionalization plan. A representative noted appreciation for Bonalba’s collaboration in turning this important project into reality and highlighted that the facilities will help the team concentrate on on-field performance while the infrastructure supports long-term development.
The construction of this primary training area for CF Intercity reflects the broader asset growth policy, prioritizing the development of both the first team and youth pathways to ensure players train in optimal conditions.
CF Intercity continues to invest in infrastructures that enable sport to be practiced under the best possible circumstances, support the club’s youth programs, and broaden training across multiple modalities that form the club’s athletic portfolio.

Intercity’s vice president welcomed the training camp project, saying the facilities will support the club’s growth. He praised Bonalba for opening its doors to create something meaningful for the club’s future and ensuring players have a comfortable environment. He also noted that the agreement benefits both parties and that a stable structure is now in place to let players focus on winning matches. While construction progress is a priority, he hopes to accelerate work so the team can enjoy the new facilities sooner. He even hinted at potential future expansions and collaborations with the hotel sector to extend similar benefits to other teams in Alicante.
