Neto, who did not take part in the training with authorization to negotiate his exit from Barça, will skip the team’s presentation held before the Joan Gamper trophy dispute. The 31 players summoned to follow Xavi Hernández’s directives will then face Mexican side Pumas in a forthcoming match. Daniel Alves will also receive farewell tributes from supporters.

The primary motivation remains honoring the new signings. Robert Lewandowski had already staged his public appearance on Friday at Camp Nou, while others—Raphinha, Christensen, Kessié, and Koundé—were introduced without fans and at the sports city.

The squad list also includes players Barça would like to transfer, although they are currently training with the group under their present contracts. Umtiti, Braithwaite, and Collado are possible loan options; Ferran Torres is injured and has yet to play, along with other potential departures such as Pjanic, Memphis Depay, or Frenkie de Jong. In principle, none of these players is expected to appear against Pumas.
