Artem Dzyuba, a forward for Lokomotiv Moscow, held a leading role in the Russian film The End of Glory, with Pavel Derevyanko portraying the central character.
The ensemble also features Daria Ursulyak, Sergei Chirkov, Maxim Lagashkin, Yan Tsapnik, Ekaterina Klimova and a number of other actors. A teaser for the project was released by START online cinema on December 25, accompanied by a dedicated YouTube channel update.
Last season, Dzyuba extended his agreement with Lokomotiv under a 1+1 contract arrangement.
In the current campaign, the striker has taken part in 16 Russian Premier League fixtures and four National Cup matches, contributing four goals and three assists. In the previous season, he shared the club’s top scorer honor with Wilson Isidor and Anton Miranchuk, who were with the team for only part of the campaign.
Artem Dzyuba stands as the all time leading scorer in the Russian Championship, with a tally of 160 goals. He also shares the record for most goals for the Russia national team, having netted 30 goals alongside Alexander Kerzhakov.
There was a moment when the coach Semin referenced a trick attributed to Dzyuba, highlighting the player’s creative flair and tactical impact on the field.
