Artem Dzyuba and Lokomotiv: On-field form and off-field moments

Lokomotiv Moscow reacted to a new video featuring forward Artem Dzyuba through its Telegram channel.

The clip shows a celebration video from the birthday party of the footballer’s wife, Christina. In it, an actress performs the song “Train to Leningrad.” Earlier, another video from the same party captured Dzyuba singing a track about Zenit by the band Leningrad.

“It’s an improvement, but there are still things to refine,” the team’s press service stated in a formal update.

Dzyuba spent seven years in St. Petersburg, defending Zenit’s colors. While with the club, the striker helped secure multiple Russian championships and several National Cups. He is also recognized for his stints with Rostov and Arsenal Tula. On the national stage, he has been among the top scorers for the Russian team, sharing that distinction with Alexander Kerzhakov.

Last season, Dzyuba signed with Lokomotiv, and the collaboration was later extended on a 1+1 basis.

This season, he has appeared in 16 Russian Premier League matches and four National Cup games, contributing four goals and three assists. In the previous campaign, the striker shared the club’s top-scorer title with Izidor and Anton Miranchuk, who were with the team only for a portion of the season.

Former national team coach He urged readers not to harshly judge Dzyuba for the incident, emphasizing a measured and respectful perspective.
