Anastasia Kazachek, who was married to Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, has used her social media platform to share updates on the ongoing custody matter involving their children. She described the latest procedural steps and suggested that a key decision about where the children will reside may have already been anticipated by the parties involved. According to her post, a preliminary hearing occurred and the court scheduled another hearing for September. She claimed that Safonov’s representatives asked to move the hearing up, arguing that a court decision would be issued by that time. This assertion drew surprise from the presiding judge, who questioned how anyone could know the outcome in advance. Kazachek reflected on her impressions of Safonov, recounting that she had previously observed efforts to obtain custody of the child, the family car, and to compel her to pay alimony, while alleging that he sought to press criminal charges against her.
The two announced their split in October 2021. After the divorce, Kazachek accused Safonov’s partner of disloyalty, while Kazachek herself stated on social media that the family had separated.
Safonov appeared in 26 matches during the 2022/23 Russian Premier League season, conceding 41 goals. His team, Krasnodar, finished the season with 46 points in sixth place, and they also faced a defeat to CSKA Moscow in the Russian Cup final.
Marina Kondratyuk, who had previously been connected with Safonov, rebutted social media claims about the footballer that had originated from Kazachek, the goalkeeper’s ex-wife, underscoring the contentious nature of the public discussion surrounding the case.
