Chelsea’s new manager announced

Chelsea London have announced the appointment of former Brighton manager Graham Potter to the coaching role. This has been reported official website of the club.

“Chelsea Football Club is delighted to welcome Graham Potter as our new head coach who has joined us on a five-year contract to bring progressive football and innovative coaching to the club,” the official website said.

Potter has been in Brighton since 2019. Last season he led the team to the best result in its history.

Recall that Potter replaced the head coach of the German Thomas Tuchel. At Chelsea since 2021. Under his leadership, the team became the winner of the Champions League in the 2020/21 season and the owner of the UEFA Super Cup.

On 6 September, Chelsea lost 0:1 to Dinamo Zagreb in the first round of the Champions League group stage. The next day, the club announced the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel.

In six rounds of the Premier League this season, Chelsea have amassed ten points and are sixth in the championship standings.

It was previously reported that Chelsea fans shocked by Tuchel’s resignation.
