NVIDIA increased the prices for video cards – the fault of production in the US and trade tasks

NVIDIA has changed the pricing policy during the product spectrum, which is associated with the transfer of part of the production processes in the United States and an increase in costs related to production at American facilities. According to a number of sources, the partners were allowed to recalculate the price of video cards and specialized AI trackers, which increases their costs by approximately 10-15 %, and the graphic solutions of the consumer were found to be an increase of 5-10 %.

The movement of part of the production of graphic processors in Arizona sets the company to prevent tasks, but at the same time brings in considerable extra costs. According to experts, the operation of factories in the United States is more expensive than in Taiwan, which is reflected at the final price of products. The new TSMC factories associated with the American production complex are aimed at increasing production capacities, despite the fact that their work will become economically effective in a few years.

It should be noted that both high-tech and accelerators such as the H200 and B200 models and the GeForce-graphic maps, including the RTX 5,000, are touched by both high-tech and accelerators. At the same time, the demand for the latest models remains high, which offers the company the possibilities for further optimization of financial indicators. At the same time, in the retail trade, the situation remains relatively stable and the prices at the local level are not yet registered.

In general, the updated NVIDIA price policy reflects the wish of the company to adapt to new economic realities, whereby the balance between avoiding import duties and the increase in production costs becomes a key factor in the formation of the final costs of products.
