Intel has stopped supporting Deep Link technology, designed to optimize the interaction between his own processors and video cards. Information about this appeared in the discussion about Github, where Intel employee said under the nickname Zack-Intel that the project will no longer receive updates. The company has not yet received an official statement.
Deep Link, presented in 2022, together with the ARC Alchemist video cards, made it possible to distribute the tasks between integrated and discreet images in systems based on the 11th generation Intel processors and newer. Among the functions were automatic energy consumption (Dynamic Power Share), accelerated video coding (Hyper Code) and improving stream transmission (stream assist).

Despite the termination of the support, the current versions of Deep Link remain efficient for the owners of compatible equipment. In the future, however, users can come across errors that will not be corrected. This applies in particular to those who have purchased the ARC Alchemist video card, which count on the development of the function.
It is remarkable that Intel gradually started running the project in 2023 – the new Battlemage GPUs were originally produced without the support of Deep Link. According to experts, the decision is associated with the redistribution of resources in favor of other areas, such as the development of artificial intelligence and architecture of the GPU. It is still unclear whether Deep Link will become part of the outdated Intel technology or the company will present an alternative in the future. For current users, not recommendations for the transition to other decisions have been provided.
