For the first time in the 21st century, Ukrainian Shakhtar will not play in the Champions League.
This was known after Kiev Dynamo’s 27th round of Ukraine Premier League (UPL). Kiivians scored 67 points and chaired the ranking before the end of the championship. Shakhtar has 57 points – the championship lost his mathematical chance. The second is “Alexandria” with 60 points.
Only the winner of the Ukrainian Championship enters the Champions League – his journey will start with a second -elimination round. Shakhtar will not play in the tournament for the first time since the 1999/2000 season.
