LG TV owners were given the opportunity to launch games from the Xbox library without using the console. From today, on the branded devices released in 2022-2025, including the OLED models and portable StanbyMe screens, official integration with the Microsoft Cloud Gaming Service is available.
To access the games, you need an updated version of Webos (24 and higher), an account with the Game Pass Ultimate and a wireless game path with Bluetooth support. On the 2025 TVs, the application is built into the LG -Gaming section and on earlier models it must be loaded via an applicationboe.
This is not the first experience of Microsoft to integrate Cloud Gaming into third -party devices: in 2022 the company introduced a similar solution such as Samsung TVs. Now, however, the functionality has become available for a wider range of devices of large OLED screens for portable monitors too compact.

The application interface repeats the Xbox Cloud Gaming -Web version and offers access to hundreds of projects from the Game Pass catalog. Users can play for a few seconds after starting the application, which eliminates the need to buy a console. The update is already unfolding for compatible LG models. It is recommended to check the availability of firmware updates before the application is installed.
Experts note that such a step corresponds to the long -term strategy of Microsoft aimed at changing game services in a platform independent of specific devices. In the future, this can change the approach to the distribution of games by shifting the emphasis of “iron” on cloud technologies and subscriptions.
