AMD custom plans to produce new video cards. According to the Board Channels Forum and other sources, the output of the Radeon RX 9060 XT model, focused on the average price segment, is planned for May 18. It was previously assumed that the release would take place as part of the Computex exhibition at the end of May – early June, but the deadlines moved to an earlier launch.
The Radeon RX 9060 XT, based on the RDNA 4 architecture, receives 44 graphic processor with 2048 stream processors. The card is available in two versions: with 8 GB and 16 GB GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit bus. The transit is 320 GB/s, which is lower than that of the competitors of Nvidia Blackwell (448 GB/s). According to tests, such configurations with 8 GB of memory can encounter limitations in modern games. The price of the model is expected to be from $ 300 to $ 400 (around 25,000-33,000 rubles), but the total costs can change as a result of external factors.
At the same time, information has been published about the transfer of the release of Radeon RX 9070 GRE. This model, equipped with the GPU Navi 48 and 12 GB of memory on the 192-bit interface, should fill the niche between the RX 9060 XT and RX 9070. However, its output was postponed to the fourth quarter of 2025. The reasons for the delay are not announced, but the tire of tire and a tall. Moreover, it remains unclear whether the RX 9070 GRE is available outside China.
Despite AMD ambitions, there are still questions about the technical characteristics of both cards. Analysts doubt whether the proposed solutions will be able to compete with the novelties of Nvidia, especially in the context of an increase in the requirements for video memory and transit in games. A decisive role can be played by a pricing policy, but the current predictions look careful because of instability in the component market.
