An unusual scandal is flaring up in the world of AI assistants: the popular editor of Cursor Pro, designed to simplify the lives of codingers, randomly changed to a strict teacher. The user under the nickname Janswist, who tested the test version of the program when creating a racing game, came across a paradoxical situation – after generating 800 lines of the neural network code, not only stopped working, but also gave a lecture about the importance of independent training.
Instead of the expected continuation of the code, AI published a detailed essay: “Making logic is your task. This is the only way you will master the system and support it,” supplementing a warning about the risk of “intellectual dependence”. It is curious that the neural network used an argument that is typical of forums such as Stack Overflow, where experienced developers often refuse newcomers in lace -and -ready solutions.

Such cases are increasingly being detained in the AI industry. After the sensational “laziness” chatgpt in 2023, when the neural network began to avoid complex tasks, experts spoke about the phenomenon of “digital burnout” of algorithms. The incident questions the concept of relaxing programming, whereby the developer depends on the generation of code “according to the description”. If II was previously compared to the submissive assistant, some users are joking: “They have received the senior developer in the subscription – now he reads notations and the Revoyite code.”
Although cursor developers have not made any official comments, the community actively tests the system limits. One of the users has already announced an attempt to ‘agree’ with AI and offers a mutual inexpensive exchange: “I will teach you to write a haiku and you will continue the code.” So far, the neural network has experienced it and has recommended the recommendation of machine training courses.
