The ‘Figo case: The signature of the century’ is the result of in-depth research work. More than 30 hours of interviews with 12 main participants. The documentary collects testimonies from some of the most important names in Spanish football, such as Joan Gaspart, Paulo Futre, Pep Guardiola, Roberto Carlos, Fernando Hierro, Jorge Valdano, José Ramón de la Morena, José Félix DÃaz or Toni Frieros.
Produced by Pitch Productions and directed by David Tryhorn and Ben Nicholas, the title features never-before-seen files in Spain and Portugal. Images from Figo’s personal collection during his time in Barcelona and his vacation in Sardinia in the summer of 2000.
