If the desktop version of the RTX 5080 was disappointed with modest progress, the mobile analogue apparently becomes a new standard for game laptops.
According to Lekken, RTX 5080 scored 21,948 points in the Tijdens -graphic test, which is 24% higher than the RTX 4080 mobile result (17,601 points). This indicator approaches the level of the Top RTX 4090 Mobiel. The most important factors were the transition to the GDDR7 memory with 16 GB (against 12 GDDR6X with the predecessor) and an elevated tire width increased to 256-bit, so that the transit was halved.
