Owners of the Steam Deck portable console will soon be able to take full advantage of NVIDIA cloud gaming. The company has announced the development of the GeForce Now application for Steam Deck, which promises to revolutionize the user experience by giving them access to game streaming in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
Currently, Steam Deck users can only use GeForce Now via a browser using complex solutions that involve technical limitations and inconveniences. The arrival of the official application will eliminate these problems, making launching games via the cloud service easy and stable.

The main advantage of GeForce Now is its support for various game libraries, including Steam, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect. This means that Steam Deck owners can play games from multiple platforms without having to purchase them again. At the same time, Nvidia ensures game rendering on powerful servers using RTX video cards, which is especially important for the Steam Deck, whose technical capabilities are limited by integrated graphics.
However, users should note that GeForce Now’s premium features, including 4K streaming and DLSS 3 support, are only available through paid subscriptions. The free version of the service is limited by image quality and playtime. NVIDIA has not yet announced the exact release dates for the application, but promises a release in the near future.
