The 40-year-old American basketball player of the National Basketball Association (NBA) club LeBron James has achieved another unique success.
In today’s regular season game against the Atlanta Hawks, James scored 30 points. This game was his 563rd career game in which he scored at least 30 points. The American player shared this success with Michael Jordan, who played 562 such matches to date.
Despite his age, James continues to play productively: He is averaging 28.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 8.4 assists in the last 10 games.
At the end of February 2022, the IOC issued a call to international sports federations and recommended that Russian and Belarusian athletes not be allowed to participate in any competitions. The organization decided to admit Russians and Belarusians to the 2024 Olympic Games as neutral athletes at the end of 2023. To participate, they had to meet a series of requirements and qualify. Medals of Russians and Belarusians are not taken into account in the medal rankings.
