Moscow “Lokomotiv” defeated the capital’s “Dynamo” in the first match of the quarter-finals of the Russian Cup RPL Road.
The meeting took place at the VTB Arena stadium – Dynamo Central Stadium. Lev Yashin’s match in Moscow ended with a score of 2:1. The Railwaymen opened the scoring with a goal from Cesar Montes in the 26th minute. El-Mahdi Mawhoub equalized two minutes later. Sergei Piyanev scored Lokomotiv’s winning goal in the 53rd minute of the match.
Lokomotiv player Alexei Batrakov, who was injured on November 27, entered the field and made two assists.
