In Germany, sales of new Intel Core Ultra processors were met with unexpectedly low interest from buyers. According to the largest German store Mindfactory, from the moment it went on sale, this series of processors barely managed to reach the 10 unit mark, which is why they did not even make it to the final sales table. As a result, Intel’s share of the processor market fell to 5%, leaving AMD with an impressive 95% and a strong leadership position.
Among AMD processors, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D model is especially popular, which was sold 190 times last week. This underlines the growing user interest in the company’s products as Intel continues to compete for customer attention. Despite the fact that the Core i5-13400 became Intel’s best-selling chip, only 10 units were sold.

The current situation highlights the serious challenges Intel faces due to increasing competition and changes in consumer preferences. Thanks to active investments in innovation and energy efficiency improvements, AMD continues to gain popularity, threatening Intel’s continued position in the market.
Given current trends, Intel must rethink its strategy and improve its products to regain user trust and compete with AMD, otherwise the company will face a further decline in its market share.
