Akron Togliatti’s medical staff continues to work for the recovery of striker Artem Dzyuba. Reported to this publication “Sports every day” at the team’s press service.
We have no new news regarding what we said in the statement. The club said medical staff are currently working on Artem’s recovery.
The striker risks missing the match against Krylya Sovetov Samara on November 3 in the 14th round of the Russian Premier League. The starting whistle will blow at 13:00 Moscow time.
Dzyuba was injured and was substituted in the 10th minute of the Russian Premier League match against Zenit, replaced by Gilson Benchimol from Cape Verde. Akron later reported that Dziuba was diagnosed with a micro injury to the back of his thigh. On October 21, Akron announced that the player was undergoing an active recovery period.
Dzyuba joined Akron’s squad during the summer transfer window. He has played 6 matches with the team so far, scoring 1 goal and making 3 assists.
