Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the work of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) should be corrected. He announced this at the launch of new sports facilities.
“Despite all the known problems, it is important to increase international cooperation efforts and work with all relevant partners,” Putin said.

He expressed confidence that on November 7 the PRC executive committee would support his resignation proposal and set a date for the Olympic meeting, where early elections for the new leadership of the organization would be held.
