Recent experiments by scientists have shown that the new 6G mobile network can deliver incredible data transfer speeds, up to 9,000 times faster than existing mobile networks. This achievement was made possible thanks to the development of a fundamentally new technology for wireless information transfer.
During the tests, the data transfer speed was recorded with peak values of 938 Gbps, which allows you to download several dozen movies in HD quality in less than a second without any problems. These results were achieved using a wide frequency range from 5 to 150 GHz, which includes light waves in addition to standard radio waves. In contrast, the average speed of 5G mobile networks rarely exceeds 100 Mbps, while the theoretically possible peak speed is 20 Gbps.

One of the main problems of modern mobile networks is the limitation of the frequency spectrum, which negatively affects their performance, especially when the incoming data stream is distributed among several devices on the same mobile network. New technology can provide a solution to such situations by offering higher throughput capacity.
Despite the promising results, it will take a long time before the new 6G standard is fully introduced into everyday life. However, such research already shows the extremely great potential of future mobile communications.
