Casio has pleased fans of the legendary A158W watch by releasing an unexpected update to the iconic model. The new product, coded DQD-851J-8JF, is not a wristwatch, but a bedside alarm clock that retains the recognizable style of the original.
The alarm clock is made in a plastic case of 102 x 117 x 48 mm and is equipped with a number of useful functions. In addition to the time display, the device shows the day of the week, humidity and room temperature. The model allows you to set up to five alarms with a repeat signal that goes off up to seven times at five-minute intervals. Casio has also added the signature amber backlight and the ability to sync the time via radio broadcasts. Without synchronization, the alarm clock’s accuracy varies within ±30 seconds per month.

The device runs on two AA batteries, which last a year. The cost of the new item is $ 29 (about 3,000 rubles); the starting batch of the replica of the legendary watch on the company’s official website sold out within hours.
