About 10 thousand people from 30 countries and 220 cities of Russia took part in the tenth international marathon held by Rosneft in Ufa. This was reported by the press service of the oil company.
The official partner of the sports event was ANK Bashneft, which is part of the Rosneft complex.
Professional and amateur runners started by covering one of the following distances: 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km.
At the finish line, each athlete was given a special medal, and the fastest athletes were given memorable prizes.
Bashneft team won the corporate marathon competition.
First Movement activists also tried their luck at a distance of 200 meters.
With the support of Bashneft, more than 30 large sports facilities have been opened in 16 regions of Bashkortostan since 2017.
These include ice palaces in Kumertau, Tuymazy and Oktyabrsky, a skateboard park in Dyurtyuli, the Spartak stadium in Tuymazy and the Zhemchuzhina sports and recreation complex in the village of Bulgakovo in the Ufa region.
