Chairman of the Board of Directors of St. Petersburg Zenit Alexander Medvedev denied the information about the double bonus won against CSKA Moscow in the Russian Premier League (RPL) Sports24.
“Information about the double bonus is an empty fiction,” Medvedev said.
On September 14, Zenit defeated CSKA in the eighth round match of the Russian Championship. The meeting ended with a score of 1:0. The only goal in this match was scored in the 43rd minute by Zenit’s new player, Argentinian forward Luciano Gondo, after a pass from Brazilian Douglas Santos.
