Matvey Safonov, goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain and the Russian national team, is adapting to the French club. This is stated in a comment to the portal Legal betting – said former Krasnodar goalkeeper Yegor Baburin, who currently plays for Torpedo.
“Matvey Safonov and I are in touch. After all, we spent two years together in Krasnodar. He is in PSG, where we are all extremely happy, and he is already gradually adapting to the team. Now all that remains is to wait for his debut,” Baburin said.
PSG announced the transfer of Safonov, who plays for Krasnodar, on June 14. At the same time, it became known that a week ago, the player was banned from leaving Russia due to alimony debts exceeding 60 million rubles. The ban came into effect on June 6, when the goalkeeper was already in Minsk with the Russian national team and played a friendly match with the Belarusian national team, which ended with a 4:0 victory for the Russians.
