Vitaly Kafanov, goalkeeper coach of the Russian national team, became one of the best mentors in the career of Torpedo goalkeeper Yegor Baburin. The goalkeeper told about this in a comment to the portal Legal betting.

Egor Baburin has been playing for Torpedo since July 2022. He has played nine matches for the team this season and conceded seven goals. He also kept his goal in three matches. Baburin worked with Kafanov in Rubin Kazan and Rostov.
Vitaly Kafanov is part of Valery Karpin’s coaching staff both in the national team and in Rostov. From 2002 to 2013 he assisted Kurban Berdyev in Rubin, and together with him the Kazan team became the champion of Russia twice.
