Former Russian national team and Lokomotiv Moscow forward Artem Dzyuba spoke about the disagreement between himself and Amkal player Anton Karpov during the final match of the street football T-League. His words were quoted by the Telegram channel 13Kai Team.
“Because that’s how they behave. They swear at me and half of the team in front of my children. It’s not nice at all. Is the victory deserved? Have you seen the scoreboard? – said the forward.
The incident began with a verbal argument. Karpov spoke obscenely to Dzyuba, who plays for the Mandalorian team. The former Russian international swore at his opponent and then kicked him. In this episode, Dzyuba received a yellow card that was unbecoming of Amkal players. They decided to leave the field. Amkal was given a technical defeat.
Dzyuba left Lokomotiv Moscow after the end of last season. The 35-year-old forward played 26 matches in all competitions in the 2023/24 season, scoring 4 goals and making 4 assists. At the end of the season, Lokomotiv finished in fourth place in the Russian Premier League with 53 points.
