Russian figure skater Alexandra Trusova flew to Mexico to give master classes. She told about it in her social networks.
“It’s 05:29 Mexican time. At 06:00 I eat ice, I train so as not to lose my form. From 07:15 to 16:30 I have master classes,” Trusova said.
Trusova married Makar Ignatov. The wedding ceremony took place on August 17.
Trusova won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing, losing to compatriot Shcherbakova. Japan’s Kaori Sakamoto finished in the top three. Before the award ceremony, Trusova refused to go to the ceremony and emotionally stated that she would never go on the ice again. On August 16, Evgeni Plushenko, who works under Trusova’s leadership, said that there was no talk of the figure skater returning to the sport and that she would only perform in the trial skating.
Ignatov is the silver medalist of the Russian Championship (2021), the bronze medalist of the Rostelecom Cup Grand Prix stage (2019), two-time winner of the Russian Cup Final (2020, 2022).
