Spartak striker says he is happy at the club 08:38

Spartak forward Manfred Ugalde said he was happy in the Moscow club. The player’s words stand out “Match TV”.

“I love playing football and I try to do my best. It’s clear that there are other important things in life, but I’m a Spartak player. I’m happy at this club and I do everything that depends on me,” Ugalde said.

Ugalde was transferred to Spartak from the Dutch Championship, where he played for Twente, in January of this year. The Red-Whites paid 13 million euros for the transfer. His contract with the Red-Whites runs until June 2028.

Last season, the player was criticized for not scoring a single goal in 12 Russian Premier League (RPL) games. This year, he has scored five goals in his last five games.

In the Russian Championship standings, Spartak is in fourth place with ten points. In the next round, Dejan Stankovic’s team will play against Zenit St. Petersburg. The meeting will take place on August 24. The teams will take to the field at 17:30 Moscow time.

Previously on “Torch” spent “Men’s” conversation after the defeat of Spartak.
