Russian trampoline player Angela Bladtseva explains why she burst into tears after her performance at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The Russian woman’s words are quoted “Fontanka.ru”.
“For example, I can cry in the locker room where no one can see me. I’ve never cried in front of a camera, but at the Olympics I couldn’t hold myself back. I’m very strict with myself; I always have to be in a leading position. It was a shame that I couldn’t show what I can do,” Bladtseva said.
The 19-year-old athlete finished fifth in the 2024 Olympic Games. The British representative Bryony Page won the competition with 56.480 points. The silver medal went to Belarusian athlete Violetta Bordilovskaya (56.060) and the bronze medal went to Canadian Sofyan Meto (55.650).
The closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games took place at the Stade de France on August 11. The next Olympic Games will be held in Los Angeles, USA, in 2028.
