Former RPL referee criticized the referee of the match “Krasnodar” – CSKA 23:58

Former Russian Premier League (RPL) referee Igor Egorov has criticized the referee of the fourth round match between Krasnodar and CSKA Moscow. In his opinion, the incident between Bulls midfielder Eduard Spertsyan and army defender Willian Rocha deserved a harsh punishment. Excerpt from the former referee “Soviet sport”.

“The guy was seriously injured. The referee looked at the VAR but did not show the card. This is at least orange, but for me it is red. It was a mistake that affected the result; Spertsyan needed to rest,” Egorov said.

CSKA’s Brazilian defender was unable to finish the match after this episode, with media reporting that he required four stitches.

On August 10, Krasnodar beat CSKA 2:1 in the fourth round match of the RPL. The army team responded to goals from Angolan João Batchi with a precise strike from Russian Igor Diveev, and at the end of the match, Krasnodar’s Brazilian defender Tormena scored the winning goal in the 91st minute.

Previously Spartacus I couldn’t beat it “Akhmat” in the RPL match.
