Previously, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) allowed Athletes from Russia and Belarus, which are competing as neutrals at the 2024 Olympic Games, will attend the closing ceremony.

“The IOC Executive Committee’s decision was based on the fact that all athletes, and not teams, would participate in the closing ceremony together, in accordance with the general rules of conduct,” the statement said.

The media reported that the IOC made this decision knowing that many athletes from Russia and Belarus had left Paris.

The Russian gymnast had previously said she would watch the closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympics.
