Russian Premier League (RPL) President Alexander Alaev said that there may be changes in the reward distribution system due to YouTube’s slowdown “Sports Express”.
“The media activity of the clubs is one of the indicators. Are there any adjustments to the distribution system? Let’s see. This is an innovation that we will gradually fine-tune,” Alaev said.
Alaev also said that VK video or Rutube can be an alternative to YouTube.
“There are different options. We will choose the one that suits both us and the clubs,” he said.
It was learned that on July 10, the clubs approved the model for the distribution of income and expenses for the new season. Within the scope of the current agreements made with the league partners, a prize fund will be created from a portion of the commercial income, based on criteria such as participation and media activity. Payments from the fund will be made at the end of the season.
