Argentine President Javier Miley described the attack by environmental activists on the mansion of Argentine footballer Lionel Messi as an act of cowardice on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

“I express my solidarity with the Messi family for this cowardly and insane act. I ask the Spanish government to ensure the safety of Argentinian citizens,” Miley wrote.

The villa was purchased by Messi for €11 million in 2022. At the time of purchase, Messi did not have the completion certificate required by the municipality of San José, which could make it impossible to pay your water and electricity bills.

The previous owner of the villa was suspected of carrying out uncoordinated work to convert part of the garage into living space, which led to the change of land.

“This is another example of how the law is not the same for everyone. State institutions are at the service of a small ruling class.” said the environmental activist.

Previously an Italian national team legend made a choice Between Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
