Defender and captain of the CSKA youth team Artem Chistyakov will continue his career in Paris Nizhny Novgorod. The portal reports Legal betting with reference to the publication’s journalist Anar Ibragimov.
According to the source, the deal will happen in the near future. Chistyakov is expected to sign a contract with the Nizhny Novgorod club until the summer of 2028.
At the end of last season, CSKA was in 6th place in the Russian Premier League (RPL). The red-blues won 12 games, drew the same number and lost 6. In early July, CSKA played two friendly matches against Serbian clubs OFK and Partizan as part of the pre-season preparation, winning both matches with an aggregate score of 7:0.
In the current RPL draw, the army team scored seven points in three games; they drew 0:0 with Rostov, and then defeated Pari NN and Orenburg 3:0 and 5:1 respectively. The red-blues are in third place in the standings. In turn, the Nizhny Novgorod team suffered two defeats in three games; in addition to the failure in the match with CSKA, they lost to Rubin Kazan 2:4 in the first round. They also beat the newcomer of the championship Dynamo Makhachkala 1:0.
Previously RFU denied CSKA has filed a compensation claim against coach Fedotov.
