The Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Russian Football Union (RFU) has rejected the compensation that former CSKA coach Vladimir Fedotov was supposed to receive from the Moscow club. This was reported by RFU Telegram channel.
“The RFU Dispute Resolution Chamber considered the statement of head coach Vladimir Fedotov regarding CSKA and made the following decision: to oblige CSKA to provide Vladimir Fedotov with documents on his work at the club in accordance with the labor code of the Russian Federation, the rest of Vladimir Fedotov’s requests regarding CSKA, ” the message reads.
Fedotov took over CSKA in the summer of 2022. In the first season under the leadership of a specialist, CSKA finished second in the Russian Premier League and won the Cup, but failed to defend the title the following year and did not make it to the Super Final, finishing only sixth in the RPL, the Army team’s worst result since 2001.
At the end of the season, CSKA announced the resignation of the specialist and the appointment of Serbian Marko Nikolic, who previously worked with Lokomotiv in the Russian Championship, as the new head coach.
