25-year-old Maxime Comtois, who became a world champion in hockey as part of the Canadian national team, signed a one-season contract with the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club Dynamo (Moscow). This is reported by official team website.
The Canadian hockey player was selected 50th overall in the National Hockey League (NHL) draft by the Anaheim Ducks and subsequently signed a three-season deal with the club. Comtois made his NHL debut in 2018. He played 212 games for the Ducks, scoring 87 points (38 goals + 49 assists). After leaving Anaheim, the athlete played for the Carolina Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights.
Comtois won the junior world championship as part of his country’s national team in 2018, and three years later won the adult world championship in Riga, Latvia.
