Russian gymnast Maria Kravtsova on her personal page Instagram (owned by Meta, known as extremist in Russia and banned) shared a new post.
The 23-year-old athlete posted a video in which she demonstrates stretching and some gymnastic elements.
The athlete signed the story as “Morning warm-up.”
Kravtsova is a three-time world champion in rhythmic gymnastics in group exercises. She also has three victories at the European Championships and two gold medals in the team all-around at the Junior World Championships. The gymnast ended her professional career in 2018 due to injury.
At the end of February 2022, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) appealed to international sports federations, recommending that domestic and Belarusian athletes not be allowed to participate in any competitions. On March 4, 2022, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) decided to ban Russians and Belarusians from participating in competitions under its auspices starting March 7 due to the situation in Ukraine.
