Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov published a philosophical post on his social networks.
“A man and the masculine gender are not the same thing. It’s hard to keep up, and even harder to stay on track,” Habib wrote.
Khabib Nurmagomedov fought his last fight in the fall of 2020, defeating American Justin Gaethje. Immediately after the fight, he announced his retirement from professional career, announcing that he promised his mother that he would not fight without his father. After finishing his career, Nurmagomedov founded the Eagle FC promotion.
The athlete had 29 fights in mixed martial arts (MMA) and won each of them. As a result of the survey conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation in 2021, Khabib was chosen as the person of the year in sports. On October 22, 2023, Nurmagomedov announced that he was quitting everything related to fighting.
