Jikia’s manager doubts that the football player will continue his career in Russia 18:18

Agent Vadim Shpinev, representing the interests of former Spartak captain Georgy Dzhikia, expressed doubts that the player will continue his career in Russia. “RB Sports”.

“I doubt that Georgy Dzhikia will continue his career in Russia. The possibility of playing abroad is higher. Türkiye? We will tell you everything when the time comes,” said Shpinev.

Dzhikia has been playing for Spartak Moscow since 2017. With the club he won the championship and the Russian Cup. The club officially announced his departure on 18 May. The next day, Dzhikia led the team onto the field with his captain’s armband and played 67 minutes with Rubin in the 29th round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL).

Spartak beat Rubin with a score of 3:1. Dzhikia was not effective in his last match.

The red-whites finished the season in fifth place in the Russian Championship. Dynamo Makhachkala will play in the RPL for the first time in the 2024/25 season.
