CSKA Moscow plans to extend the contract of forward Anton Zabolotny. This was reported by Metatations.
According to the source, the head coach of the army team, Vladimir Fedotov, is personally interested in the services of the 32-year-old striker.
Zabolotny’s current contract with CSKA expires in the summer of 2024. Zabolotny played in 28 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season and scored nine goals and made two assists in these matches.
In the match against Paris NN in the 29th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL), CSKA achieved a big victory with a score of 6:2. In the Russian Championship rankings, CSKA is in sixth place with 45 points.
CSKA will face Ural Yekaterinburg in the last round. All matches of the 30th round of the RPL will be played on Saturday, May 25, and will start at 16:30 Moscow time.
Before the final round, Dynamo is leading the RPL standings with 56 points, while Krasnodar is three points behind and in third place. These teams will have to play each other, and if Krasnodar wins in the match against Rostov and Zenit loses points, the Bulls will become champions, because if the points are equal with Dynamo, they will get an advantage due to the victory in personal matches.
